Glee Rice, M.Ed., CCC-SLP

Mrs. Rice with her speech students
The 2016-17 school year is going to be the best ever!!
Quote from Edwin Elliot

Meet Mrs. Rice:
I'm a product of the Lowndes County Schools and a proud Viking to the core!  I was among the Lowndes High School graduating class of 1990.  Following high school, I earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's of Education degree in the area of Speech-Language Pathology from Valdosta State University.  I began working for the Lowndes County Schools here at M.B.E. in January, 1996, so I have two decades of experience in school-based speech therapy!

I am happily married to Bryan Rice, also a 1990 graduate of L.H.S., and we have three fur-babies: two Boston Terriers--Scout & Bonne Bleu, and a bulldog--Leroy Brown.
Speech therapy is my joy!  I love my students and I want to see them not only improve their communication skills, but also to know they are valued and supported.

"Be somebody who makes EVERYBODY feel like a SOMEBODY." -Kid President

Speech therapy is individualized to each student's needs. I don't typically send homework UNLESS there is a specific area in which a student may need extra practice.
If you would like Speech homework to be sent home with your child, please email me and I'll be happy to provide you with resources to be used at home.
