Life Skills at Moulton-Branch

Welcome to my webpage- I am excited for the 2016-2017 school year!!   This is my second year teaching at Moulton-Branch Elementary.   Before teaching in Lowndes county I taught a Life Skills class in Gwinnett county for 5 years.   In June 2015, I got married and re-located here to Valdosta.   I previously lived in Atlanta for 6 years and prior to that lived in Vermont where I grew up and went to college.   I received my Masters degree in Special Education from the University of Vermont in the spring of 2010.   I then decided that winters were too long and too cold and made my way south.   So far I love living in the south and do not mind the hot temperatures.   My husband and I have 3 dogs, a cat, and 9 nieces and nephews, not to mention a house that is being renovated!!   We manage to stay pretty busy but when we have free time we enjoy traveling and being outdoors.   I love to hike, swim, play at the beach, and tour historical homes and places.   My passion is to teach and to bring out the best in my students.   I love a challenge and when I hear the words "can't" or "won't" I make it my mission to
change that around.   One of my greatest pleasures is to see my students learn and grow as well as give them
confidence to be who they are and to be proud!
