In an abundance of caution for predicted inclement weather, the archery parent meeting that was scheduled for Thursday the 26th has been postponed. A new date will be announced as soon as possible,
Due to Tropical Storm Helene as well as Governor Kemp issuing a State of Emergency in Georgia, and Chairman Bill Slaughter declaring a State of Emergency for Lowndes County, all Lowndes County Schools and System Offices will be closed on Thursday, September 26th, and Friday, September 27th.
All after-school activities, including the Lowndes - Colquitt football game, are postponed.
As always, the safety of our staff and students is our top priority. We urge everyone to use caution and be safe. We will remain in constant communication with Lowndes County Emergency Management and local officials. Please follow EMA Lowndes on social media for ongoing updates.

Mrs.Brewer's ELA class used the AVID strategy World Cafe to review the reading standards covered so far.
There were four rotations where the students rotated and answered questions about main idea and details, cause and effect, text features, and compare and contrast. At the beginning of each rotation they heard what the previous group said from the lead at each station.
